This scholarship provides people who are unable to procure other financing, with registrations to either the fee-based Webinar series or to the EASI online courses. While EASI relies on fees to support our work, nevertheless, we want to share these resources as broadly as possible.
For those who did not know our valued friend, Dick Banks,
- He was passionate about accessible information technology
- He was eager to get others as committed to the cause as he was.
- He loved helping people learn how to make the world of information more accessible to people with disabilities.
EASI can think of no better way to honor his memory than to provide scholarships to either the EASI fee-based Webinars or to the EASI online courses. We request that, where possible, you approach your institution to finance the fee-based Webinar series or the course before applying for this scholarship. (the same person will not qualify for more than 2 events in a single year.)
