Your computer will need a sound card and speakers in order for you to hear the presenters. A mic will also let you talk, or you can use the text window to participate.

The following link is to a Windows software program that will allow you to test your microphone and speakers. If you are using Internet Explorer, click on the link and choose Run from the dialog box that appears. Other browsers may only allow you to download the small test software program. Remember where you saved it on your computer and launch the software to test your system.
When the audio test utility is launched, click on, or tab to the record button. Speak a sentence and then tab and/or click on the Stop button. If your microphone and speakers are working properly, you will hear what you said played back to you. For a detailed explanation of how the audio test utility works, click on the Explanation of this utility next to the Play and Stop buttons.
