ADDING ALTERNATIVE TEXT TO AN IMAGE

Text and Images from Slide

Put the cursor on the image on the slide and right click on it
In Office 2007 select ‘size' and in 2010 select ‘format'
There will be an empty text field where you type a short description of the image

The Size and position dialog box is shown. The image file name that for default is shown in most cases has has "no" symbol over it Type here the alt text is written in the area for the alt text. The Alt text tab and the close button are highlighted
