Scanned/Text Recognized Document
- Continuing with a scanned document, once you've performed the OCR and are satisfied with the text recognition, add the links.
- Edit PDF, Links Tool,
- A caution about Edit PDF.
- If you have a tagged document and you make any edits to the text in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC,, or any other version, you destroy the tags and will need to redo the Tags.
- This is another reason to always work with a signed off final version and include that any edits to the text/content will result in additional costs.
- You can remove a page that requires edits and work with that page only then reinsert it into the document or use the Reading Order Panel to remove the structure for a single page, then manually add it.
- If you try to use the Reading Order tool, the entire page will be tagged as one continuous paragraph or image.
