Starting with an Untagged PDF

If you are using adaptive technology and you get the dialog stating that the document is scanned, press Escape!
If you are using adaptive technology and you get the message that the document is untagged, do you want to infer the reading order, press Escape.
Do not let Adobe Acrobat pro DC create the virtual Tags for a document!
I've found that this can interfere with your ability to remediate the PDF document as Acrobat seems to fight with itself with one voice saying "but I have these virtual Tags" and the other saying "In need to Tag this content."
Use either Accessibility > Auto Tag Document or Add Tags to Document from the Tags Panel.
