NVDA Usage - Analysis

• Usage of NVDA is on the rise - is more common than most others
• Commercial offerings are still dominating as primary screen readers
• But NVDA is used by many to supplement their primary reader
• Is this because they've already paid for their primary reader?
• Study showed large numbers still updating their primary reader
• Commercial offerings still provide better access to MS-Office
• Video intercepts provide increased access to some applications
• People are still more familiar with their existing screen reader
• But the study shows healthy increases in people using NVDA
