Reading Layout/Mode

• Reading Mode has been redone to accommodate touch screens and tablets.
• It is still not accessible to screen readers or TTS (Text-to-Speech) tools.
• Recommend that it be turned off as in previous versions of Office.
• Used to be Reading Layout then full Screen Reading Mode.
• Press Alt + F, T for File/Backstage area, Word Options.
• Choose not to open attachments in Reading Layout.
• You can still access Reading Mode from the View Ribbon but turning this off means that any e-mail attachments will not automatically open in Reading Mode.
• JAWS will tell you Reading Layout/Mode is not supported.
