Rewards<br />

• I think this is a most thankless job at times and a very enjoyable job at other times. Thank God (or whomever) that I have reached the point that I can leave work at the end of the day and go to the barn to sniff a horse. I can separate my work self from my other self - which I think is a lifelong lesson that we all have to learn.
• You'll never be bored and there will always be fresh challenges. When you see the students at graduation you know exactly how much it took , their efforts and our efforts to earn that degree!
• While we have our fair share of difficult students, parents, faculty members etc. it's important to have a reminder every now and again that we are making a difference to most students. There are students who have been a lot of work, whom we've had to be very creative for, and though its tiresome, they have access to their education because we've been successful in our jobs. Reminding yourself of that can be very important to your attitude, drive, and work with other students.
