EASI has received several national awards for this work including recognition by the Association for Higher Education and Disabilities, the California State University Northridge Center on disabilities and the American Library Association. EASI has been the recipient of three National Science Foundation grants to collect and disseminate information on providing access to science, math, engineering and technology. EASI is part of the University of Southern Maine Department of Education grant, Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers with Technology. EASI is also a partner in the WebAIM Learning Anytime Anywhere Project of Utah State University.
Banks is the Chief Information Officer of EASI Corp and has been intimately involved in the creation and delivery of EASI's online training. He has participated in courses that have reached several thousand participants in over 40 countries over the past decade. Dick designed and implemented an adaptive computing lab for Ratchasuda College, Bangkok, Thailand in 1996 and was granted an honorary doctorate by the college.

Coombs is the Cheif Executive Officer of EASI. Norm has over 20 years of online teaching for the Rochester Institute of Technology and a decade of creating and delivering training online for EASI. Norm has taught more than 6,000 students online around the world. He has made presentations across the US on distance learning and on accessible information technology for which he has received several awards. He was instrumental in initiating the distance learning programs of both the Rochester Institute of technology and EASI's online training. Many of his publications are available from his web site.

Lazzaro is the project director of the Adaptive Technology Program at the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind. Joe has written several articles and 3 books on adaptive computer technology--Adaptive Technologies for Learning and Work Environments, Adapting PCs for Disabilities, and Adapting PCs for Disabilities and Adaptive Technologies for Learning and Work Environment, second edition. Joe is also a prolific science fiction writer.
