EASI Educational Internet
Captioning and Transcription Service
Multimedia presentations on the Internet presents problems for web users
with disabilities. Video, narrated PowerPoint and audio needs to have
a text equivalent provided for the Deaf. This is time-consuming and expensive.
EASI has made a commitment to provide either streaming captions or transcriptions
of all of our media.
EASI now will provide this educational quality streaming captioning and
transcriptions at a reasonable cost to educational institutions. We do
not compete with commercial quality captioning services. Our product is
aimed at the educational content provider. We strive to maintain quality
while continuing to be affordable. Making your media accessible for students
with disabilities will better serve the needs of all of your students.
You will discover many non-disabled people like printing transcripts of
presentations to study more carefully later.
You will need the free RealPlayer G2 or
later to access this media.
Here are several examples of our video streaming captioning and narrated
PowerPoint captioning.
