Don't believe the hype!
It doesn't matter if what you're writing isn't easy to understand. Plain language doesn't dumb down content—it's about clearly communicating with whomever reads or hears your information. It's about meeting your users' needs. It doesn't matter if you have valuable information if people can't understand it.
