Trusted Adaptive Technology
- This Adobe Reader and Acrobat tool was meant for old or legacy documents that were created before we could Tag documents.
- It is not meant to be an "excuse" for not creating accessible PDF documents.
- AND it does NOT mean that "if JAWS can read it, it is accessible."
- It allows adaptive technology to in effect create "virtual" or pretend Tags in an untagged document and attempt to provide logic out of chaos.
- Not always perfect, can miss content or present it in a non-logical order.
- There is no such thing as a "JAWS Compliant" PDF document or a documents "compliant" to any other adaptive technology.
- This is like trying to capture the wind…or nail jelly to the wall.
