Impact of PDF/UA
- Most of what we are already doing is part of PDF/UA:
- Headings - can be more than one H1, headings must be sequential and headings must not be skipped.
- Cannot go from H1 to H3 without an H2.
- Correct table structure.
- Correct list structure.
- Alt Text for images.
- Links that can be activated using the keyboard.
- Unicode fonts…standard fonts that can be read by adaptive technology.
- Core language for a document with language changes appropriate for content.
- Document has a title and the initial view is to have the document title show in the Title Bar.
