The Last "Word" - Style Separator
- Style Separator was available in Office for Windows until Office 2013 although the tool can still be added to the Quick Access Toolbar.
- It was a tool never available in Office for Mac.
- Style Separator was used for Paragraph Headings.
- A good example of Paragraph Headings can be found in APA style guide.
- It is a "heading" that is part of a paragraph.
- Still needs to be included in the Table of Contents.
- Headings are Linked Styles and can be used on both full lines of text or part of a line.
- Once you select more than half the line, the entire paragraph/line will be made a heading.
- NEVER use headings to make a paragraph stand out!
