Accessibility Challenges

• WYSIWYG Editor (Rich Text Editor)
• Currently, Sakai 2 uses the FCKeditor which has many accessibility issues:
• Keyboard navigation trap
• Inaccessible toolbar
• Paste from Microsoft Word, etc. does not work
• Sakai Community is working on upgrading to the vastly improved CKEditor for new Sakai 2.x releases
• Current workaround is that user can upload attachments (such as a Word document) instead of using the WYSIWYG editor in Sakai.
