What is a Cascading Style Sheet or CSS

• Typically you would have one style sheet for a web page or document.
• However, you can have multiple style sheets providing different instructions:
• "Cascading Style Sheets."
• They are implemented in the order in which they are called or layer in the HTML document.
• It is a bit like programming and is very orderly - syntax IS important.55
• Don't panic!
• Don't be afraid to copy and paste code…this is how you learn!
• Find something close to what you want and then make the minor modifications.
• Don't think you have to reinvent the wheel.
