• Like a box of Cracker Jack: you never know what surprise is in the document.
• Same with documents from desktop published documents where columns and tables have not been created properly.
• Using tables or text boxes to mimic columns often doesn't translate gracefully either, especially text boxes.
• What you will be able to Tag correctly will depend on how good the OCR is on the document.
• In Acrobat 9 and X you want to choose the ClearScan option as it replaces the Formatted Text and Graphics option of Acrobat 8.
• The source document and how it is created is the key to accessibility in both the source document and a tagged PDF or any other format the document is converted to.
