What we found:
Traditional captioning is slow and expensive. Price points up to $800 per hour.
Small vendors are less expensive but not enough so, and cannot scale to needs.
Automated solutions (speech rec) are too error prone to provide a compliant solution.
Traditional captioning vendors used cumbersome workflow models that often required physical delivery of media.
All solutions we examined suffered from an inability to keep pace with changing media types.
