Contents of Clear Formatting

Clear Formatting

• Select the text and press Alt + H, E for Home Ribbon, Erase.
• I try to do this before copying content but you can do it afterward.
• I just close the document I'm copying from without saving so that its formatting is retained.
• Can use Ctrl + Z to undo the clear formatting.
• Other keyboard commands for removing specific formatting:
• Press Ctrl + Spacebar to remove manual formatting from selected text.
• Press Ctrl + Q to remove paragraph formatting from selected text.
