Required Fields
- Acrobat or LiveCycle Designee:
- Identify required fields in the properties tools.
- Also add the word required in the ToolTip.
- For example "First Name - required."
- Can use an * but using the word required is more specific.
- Don't use colour for the form controls.
- This can be done by the end-user in the Acrobat or Reader Preferences.
- Can use Read Out Loud to read the ToolTips as part of the quality assurance process. Preferences, Forms.
- Acronyms should not be lower case, example of "aha" for "American Housing Association" being read as a word.
